1. Pressurized drilling operation. Put the handle of the operating valve to ‘drilling’. The feed control valve is in open state. Clients can determine the pressure value according to the pressure condition of hole bottom.
2. Reduced pressure drilling operation. Put operating valve handle to ‘hoist’. Reduce the pressure properly according to the amount of drill rig weight which exceeds the needed pressure at hole bottom. Adjust feed control valve according to feeding speed.
3. Drilling operation with self weight. This method is used when the weight of the core drilling machine and the needed pressure are equal all close. In the drilling process, operator should put the operating handle to ‘hoist’ or ‘decline’ and set the pressure of overflow valve to zero. Operator should adjust feed control valve to make the spindle drop smoothly.
Clients should do some inspections before starting up the core drilling machine.
1. Connections of all components should be firm and reliable. The mating face should be clean.
2. Clients should add lubrication oil to lubrication points and check the liquid level in the oil box.
3. All braking parts of the core drilling machine should be working reliably.
4. The clutch of the core drill machine should be adjusted to a suitable state.
5. Clients can use turning gear to observe the parts and to find out whether they are moving correctly and reliably.
Clients should maintain the core drilling machine regularly.
1. Workers should check every fastening part and clean all mating faces in each shift. The core drilling rig should be lubricated according to the lubrication form.
2. Clutch and hand-operated oil pump should be checked every week.
