Hollow sucker rod is composed of threaded joints, sealing and rod body. This product is formed with seamless steel tube and hollow joint through friction welding and heat treatment. Its pin thread is formed by roller. Its threaded joint is designed with bearing surface which makes the joint more reliable. Our hollow sucker rods have two kinds of structures which are very convenient to be used in working site.

1. Hollow sucker rod is used for exploring thickened oil and the crude oil of high solidification point.
2. With different inner diameters and structures, this product can be used for running heating cable or injecting hot oil and vapor.
3. Hollow sucker rod is especially produced for effectively exploring the crude oil of high coagulability, high viscosity and high wax content.
4. This product can also be used for flushing sand and salt, oil exploration in small well and separate-layer oil exploration.
5. At the same time, it has high rigidity and can bear large torque. Therefore, hollow sucker rods can be used for driving underground screw pump.

1. Chemicals and hot oil can be injected through the inner hole of this rod to increase the viscosity of the oil and the paraffin deposit in the well. The pump efficiency is therefore improved.
2. Hollow sucker rod can substitute tubing to match rod-less pump.
3. This product has small passage and liquids can flow fast through it. Sand deposit can be avoided efficiently while using it in sand well.
4. The construction of this rod is very simple. After normally fixed the hollow sucker rod, operator will put the cable into the inner hole of rod through cable winch. After connecting the circuit and pre-heating, operator can start the work.
5. Compared with ordinary sucker rods, this product only needs one additional ground device, an exclusively used power unit.
6. Temperature of hollow sucker rod can be controlled automatically. The thermal efficiency is high. There is small thermal loss, for the rod body is heated directly.
7. Viscosity of the crude oil is reduced after being heated, so the resistance is reduced when the rod going down. The effective stroke of the piston and the pumping efficiency are increased.
8. The structure of the hollow sucker rod is safe and reliable. It has good performance in repetitive operation. In pump inspection, operator only needs to pull out the cable with cable winch and pull out the whole sucker rod. The cable and the rod can both be re-utilized.
9. After the viscosity of the crude oil is reduced, the frictional resistance to the hollow sucker rod is reduced. The rod’s load in up stroke is reduced and its speed in down stroke is increased. The load condition of the pumping unit is improved.
